You will quickly be able to put together some very good farming builds once you hit 70. Demon Hunter is also a pretty good starting class. The leveling experience will be all ranged. It can be tough to get into.ĭemon Hunter primarily uses bows/crossbows, though there is one prominent melee build for the endgame. Necromancer is a fun class but I understand not liking it at first. I was just wondering if I could get some help explaining those three classes on a more basic level for someone new to Diablo. However, whenever I try looking into these classes I tend to find stuff talking about builds at max level which make no sense to me at the current moment and as such are no help. I know that I want to do Witch Doctor, WIzard, or Demon Hunter as I prefer ranged classes (so Barbarian, Crusader, and Monk are out). I'm just not really sure what class to go with. I heard that apparently gold (and possibly Artisan training?) carries over to new characters, though this could be wrong, so I was going to just create a new normal character and play through the story again as it didn't take me terribly long to get to where I was. It just didn't click with me and I don't think unlocking more passives and runes is really gonna help. I've gotten part way through Act 2 now and am still far off from 70, which as far as I have surmised is the level cap, but I don't think Necromancer is the class I want to play atm. I decided to roll up a necromancer because it seemed cool and do the story. So I picked up Diablo 3 for the Switch the other day, having no prior experience with the series.
